Enjoy your summer ☀

As I walked up to the mall, I saw a man who was limping and my heart had compassion on him. I went up to him and told him I was a Christian and asked if I could pray for him. He said yes. I asked what had happened to him that made it so he was unable to walk, and he proceeded to tell me that he had gotten in a bad car accident where he received head trauma that paralyzed the right half of his body. A few years later, he fell at work on his hip and shattered it along with also tearing his ACL. The man was a Christian, and proceeded to tell me with tears in his eyes, that if this was his lot in life and if these injuries brought glory to God, then so be it. I told him that I can't believe in a God that would do this to someone and that I believe God is good and loves him and wants to heal him. Before I prayed for this man's healing, I wanted to encourage him and build his faith. I realized that I had had word's of knowledge for his head, hip, and knee a week earlier. I explained to him what words of knowledge were and that God cared so much about him that he would speak to a complete stranger about his condition. The man started to ball and realized that God loved him and cared for him, because so long he'd felt like God was ignoring him. I prayed for this man and prophesied over him. Afterwards I asked if he had felt anything, and he said "No, NOT YET." I watched God bring hope, love, and healing to a man's heart as well as the faith to be healed! Alexis L
