Alan Hawkins

Alan Hawkins is the founding pastor of New Life City, in Albuquerque, NM since 2000. A native Mississippian, he spent over 25 years with the Southern Baptists as a student and then later as a minister. He holds advanced degrees from two Baptist Seminaries and has done further studies at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena Ca. In 1997 he had an encounter with the Holy Spirit through the ministries of C. Peter Wagner and Cindy Jacobs that launched him into renewal ministries. A veteran pastor with 30 years of experience, he has also traveled widely in the nations preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom. Alan is married to Gail and has three grown children. They have been associated with Global Awakening since 2002 and in 2007 they received ordination with Global. He has a major focus on God’s covenants with man, understanding John’s Revelation for the church, and the kingdom of God here and now.
